2011 Year full of success and inspiration!

Cellular Expert team has participated in one of the biggest geospatial events – Esri International User Conference 2011. Having about 15000 attendees the conference has provided a great opportunity to meet partners and potential customers and share the latest developments and improvements of telecommunication solutions. We had opportunities to meet with regional and global Esri distributors as well as members of the Esri community sharing ideas and interest in our technologies. The solutions have been presented and business opportunities have been discussed with the companies from USA, Canada, Australia, Spain, Germany, Poland, United Arab Emirates, India, Lebanon, Turkey and other countries. We would like to thank our friends and partners at Esri for sharing knowledge, working on best practices and wonderful collaboration.

This year Esri European User Conference was held on October 26th - 28th in Madrid. At the exhibition area Cellular Expert team met current partners, prospects and discussed business opportunities. Cellular Expert Solutions were also presented at telecommunication track of the conference. It was a great opportunity to learn about latest developments of the product, new functionality and benefits to the end-user. The solutions have been presented and business opportunities have been discussed with the companies from Belgium, Croatia, Greece, Spain, and other countries. The upcoming release of Cellular Expert 4.0 was announced. New release has full support for LTE, WiMAX and DVB-T network planning, enhanced automatic network planning tools and other improvements which have been demonstrated at the exhibition. Along with the improvements of the existing product, the solution suite has been extended with the server products including Web Profile, Web Network Information Viewer, Web Customer Care Center, Web Sales & Marketing and Web Enterprise Dashboard applications. This is a great opportunity to explore the power of geospatial technology and join a thriving community of GIS professionals who are passionate about their work.

Esri Middle East and Africa User Conference (MEAUC) held on November 1–3, 2011, in Beirut, Lebanon brought together professionals from different fields to communicate, exhibit and share their knowledge. Participating in Esri Middle East and Africa User Conference 2011 was a valuable opportunity for Cellular Expert team to collaborate with current partners from across the region, meet potential partners from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman and find out more useful information about situation in telecommunication market. We successfully presented our wireless network planning, optimization and management solutions for mobile operators and telecoms at the Telecommunications track and during the exhibition.  We would like to dedicate our special thanks to Esri Lebanon for well-planned and supported event.

We had the pleasure of speaking and exhibiting for the first time at local Norway Esri User Conference 2011.

Norsk ESRI brukerkonferanse organized by GEODATA, is the meeting place for all users of ArcGIS software in Norway. The conference brought together around 400 users from many different industries that ensure a wide diversity and represent a wide range of exciting opportunities available using ArcGIS platform. The Cellular Expert workshop was mainly focused on newly developed executive and NOC dashboards, service planning tools and other enterprise solutions.

For the first time Cellular Expert was presented at Mobile Network Optimization Africa Summit 2011 in South Africa, Johannesburg.

Visitors to the Cellular Expert booth were engaged by a demonstration of Cellular Expert solutions, showing how executives and IT managers implement proven solutions that deliver high value and increased productivity. Our prospect clients, mostly African & Middle East mobile operators had an opportunity to learn more how to overcome the technical and operational challenges of 3G network planning and optimization, understand the impact of increased data traffic on mobile network. It is clear today - if mobile operators want to create a competitive edge while rolling out new services, they must deploy smarter optimization tools such as Cellular Expert.

During the visit our team also presented Cellular Expert latest solutions and developments during special seminar organized by Esri South Africa for Directors, Heads and Managers of Network Planning and Optimization departments from South African telecommunication companies. Participants gained a deep understanding of the most evolved techniques and trends in network planning and optimization and now will be able to master the challenges posed by the evolution of modern wireless technologies with particular attention to the impact of the evolution of 3G usage.

GISWORX ’11 held in March 14-16, 2011 in Dubai, UAE is GIS Workshops and Exhibitions for Esri Users. Over the years, GISWORX evolved to be the premier GIS event in the Middle East region. It is one of the largest GIS exhibitions outside the US. This annual 3-day event provides a unique in-depth learning environment on different aspects of GIS through several technical workshops on focused topics. It helps the organizations take full advantage of their software investment by enhancing the knowledge and skills of their GIS professionals. It also addresses key issues related to implementation of GIS in specific industries.

At the workshop Cellular Expert team introduced integrated GIS system and defined how GIS helps different departments to work and collaborate more efficiently. We presented several customer stories, how Wireless Network Operators use GIS solutions to accomplish their daily tasks: technical (network design, optimization, management and monitoring), sales and marketing (marketing campaigns, sales planning, and distribution network management), customer care (trouble ticketing, reporting) and executive control. As the workshop covered many desktop and server GIS solutions and network technologies, including traditional microwave transmission and GSM and newest WiMAX, HSPA and LTE technologies, it was greatly beneficial for potential user – essentially technical staff.

During the event we met representatives of Telecom operators from Egypt, Syria, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. Few of them showed active appeal of our CE solutions and became current users.

For the sixth time we were participating in Mobile World Congress 2011, on February 14th – 17th in Barcelona, Spain. This global telecommunication congress is essential for the whole telecommunication industry. Year over year, the GSMA Mobile World Congress attracts the largest number and highest-quality attendees of any event in the mobile industry. This is truly a global event: attendees came from 200 countries from around the world. This time we have used a new form of participation – business matchmaking event. Active, pre-planned meetings have been held all 4 days during the congress. More than 20 companies from USA, China, UK, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, Columbia, Venezuela and other countries, have expressed an interest in our product. Mostly it were the companies providing telecommunication consultancy, software development, implementation and integration services, as well as telecommunication equipment producers and vendors. Cellular Expert reselling and other cooperation opportunities were discussed during the meetings.

For many years Cellular Expert team successfully participated in different events all over the world together with the Association INFOBALT. Association INFOBALT represent national ICT sector, unifying 130 Lithuanian ICT companies and research institutions. The main association INFOBALT task is to create the best conditions for growth in the ICT industry, which would benefit the people of Lithuania, the public sector and business. This year we had two exhibitions with the Association in new markets for our product - Azerbaijan and Belarus.

Cellular Expert team participated at prestigious and the largest telecommunication exhibition in the Caspian and Caucasus regions BakuTel 2011, to develop new opportunities and further co-operation with the Azerbaijani authorities and local telecommunication companies. The regular participants of the exhibition are such companies as Azel, Azercell Telecom, Azerfon, Aztelecom, Bakcell, Caspian Navtel, Delta Telecom, Idrak Technology Transfer, Microsoft, Nokia Siemens Networks, Softline, and many others. During the exhibition, Hnit-Baltic, as a member of the INFOBALT association, presented Cellular Expert solutions and related services, organized a special workshop. Specialized IT solutions and system integration are relevant to the market of Azerbaijan, so during the visit, we discussed possible co-operation with several Ministries of Azerbaijan as well as mobile network regulators, telecoms and vendors.

Cellular Expert for the first time was presented at largest Telecommunication Exhibition in Belarus TIBO 2011. The event took place on 26-29th of April in Minsk at giant Sport Complex. TIBO is an annual showroom of the latest domestic and international achievements in the fields of information and telecommunications technologies, soft- and hardware development, banking technologies and consumer electronics. More than 200 companies from 12 countries presented its production in TIBO 2011. This year exhibition welcomed over 30 thousand visitors.

Cellular Expert was presented during the exhibition where prospects could learn more about the latest international trends and our solutions in telecommunications sector. During the conference Cellular Expert team shared the experience in implementing effective IT solutions to private and public sectors and focused on the potential synergies in combining the two countries, business and political interests. Our team also participated in round-table discussions with Belarusian politicians and representatives of local IT business.
